beautiful young things walking up broadway. love tatiana’s feminine braided up-do (which contrasted with a kind of do’ rag look). matching that with a leather jacket gave the look a defiantly feminine vibe. the tribal look of the jewelry was also an inspired choice — a nice window into the wearer’s complex, vibrant personality. we also loved her printed tee-shirt!
lisa, her friend, had a more free-flowing intellectual style, with soft muted colors, including an oversize cream-colored cable-knit cardigan and denim, button-down shirt. she was no slouch in the style department either, with her knotted, rust-colored scarf, which revealed a strong, though perhaps more introverted, sense of style. i’ll show you lisa’s lovely earrings in the next post…
